Jakarta, 3 July 2026 – The Bakrie University Community Service Team funded through the Community Service Grant Program of the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research and Technology (BIMA) again carried out a series of mentoring activities for MSME Galleries Abata through Training on the Use of Google AI Pro for Compiling Storytelling Narratives on Friday (3/7/2026). The activity was held at Galleries Abata, Jl. Raya Bogor No. KM.19 No.1, RT.2/RW.10, Kramat Jati, East Jakarta.
This training is a follow-up to the Digital Storytelling socialization activities that were carried out previously. The focus of the activity is to equip participants with the skills to utilize Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology, especially Google AI Pro, to help compose marketing narratives that are creative, interesting and in accordance with the characteristics of MSME products.
The activity was attended by participants consisting of owners and staff of MSME Galleries Abata. The Bakrie University service team involved consisted of two lecturers from the Information Systems Study Program, namely Mrs. Dita Nurmadewi and Mr. Zakiul Fahmi Jailani, one lecturer from the Accounting Study Program, namely Mrs. Jurica Lucyanda, and two students from the Information Systems Study Program, namely Rega Saputra and Aulia Febriyanti.
Before the training began, participants took a pre-test to determine their initial level of understanding regarding the use of AI technology in preparing digital content. Next, participants received material regarding the introduction of Google AI Pro, techniques for composing effective prompts (prompt engineering), the use of AI to produce product narratives, the preparation of interesting promotional content, and the use of AI to support the digital marketing process without losing the authenticity of brand identity.
Training was carried out interactively through direct practice using Google AI Pro. Participants were assisted in compiling various variations of product narratives based on the characteristics of Galleries Abata products, starting from stories about the product background, advantages, value offered, to preparing more communicative social media captions. This practical approach provides participants with the opportunity to understand how to utilize AI optimally while evaluating the resulting results so that they remain in line with business needs.
In addition to practical use of Google AI Pro, participants also discussed the ethics of using Artificial Intelligence in digital marketing. The service team emphasized that AI plays a role as a tool to increase productivity in content creation, while creativity, experience and values possessed by MSMEs remain the main factors in building relationships with customers.
As part of the activity evaluation, all participants took another post-test after the training was completed. This evaluation aims to measure the increase in participants' understanding of the material that has been provided as well as become the basis for preparing mentoring material for the next activity.
Participants' enthusiasm was visible during the practice and discussion sessions. Participants actively tried various prompt preparation techniques, compared the narrative results produced by AI, and discussed how to adapt these results to be more appropriate to the characteristics of the business being run.
Through this training, Bakrie University hopes that Galleries Abata MSMEs will be able to utilize Artificial Intelligence technology effectively to produce higher quality, efficient and interesting marketing content. This activity is part of Bakrie University's commitment to supporting the digital transformation of MSMEs through the use of technology that is innovative and easy to implement in daily business activities.
