Virtual Job Fair 2026 Bakrie University Opens Career Access for Students and Alumni
Jakarta, 8 July 2026 – Bakrie University through the Student Affairs Bureau (BIMA) is again holding the 2026 Virtual Job Fair with the theme "Advancing Career Through Industry Collaboration". This activity, which took place online on 7-9 July 2026, became a forum for active students and alumni of Bakrie University to connect directly with various companies, as well as gain insight and career opportunities in the world of work.
Virtual Job Fair 2026 presents a variety of activities designed to prepare participants to enter the professional world, starting from Job Expo, Career Webinar, Coaching Clinic, Networking, to Industrial Sharing. Through this activity, participants not only get information about job vacancies and internship programs, but also the opportunity to build professional networks with industry practitioners.
A number of companies from various industrial sectors took part in this activity, including Bakrie Pipe Industries, Bakrie Sumatra Plantations, Bakrie Renewable Chemicals, VKTR, WOM Finance, BFI Finance, Mekari, Elabram, Wesclic, Fastwork, Ismaya Group, and various other partner companies. The presence of these companies provides an opportunity for participants to get to know work culture, understand industry needs, and explore career opportunities that suit their competencies.
At the opening of the event, participants took part in a Company Presentation session which presented company representatives to share information regarding company profiles, career opportunities, and the recruitment process. This activity is equipped with an interactive question and answer session so that participants can discuss directly with recruiters and industry practitioners.
In his speech, Deputy Chancellor II of Bakrie University, Dr. M. Tri Andika Kurniawan, S.Sos., M.A., Ph.D., said "Through the 2026 Virtual Job Fair, Bakrie University wants to provide a space for collaboration between universities and industry. We hope that this activity can open up more opportunities for students and alumni to develop competencies, expand professional networks, and prepare themselves to face the needs of the ever-growing world of work," he said.
Through holding the 2026 Virtual Job Fair, Bakrie University continues to strengthen synergy with the industrial world as part of efforts to produce graduates who are work ready, adaptive and competitive. It is hoped that this activity can have a real impact in improving the career readiness of students and alumni while expanding collaboration opportunities between Bakrie University and various industrial partners.
